LIMITED 2025 DATES REMAINING
For outdoor events, the client must provide adequate cover and flooring for all weather conditions. Gazebos must be securely fastened with no tripping hazards.
The artist will start and stop working at the times stated in the booking confirmation, and will allow extra time to set and pack up as required.
The artist can paint around 10 quality faces per hour. To avoid upset at children's events, each child can only participate once. Adults can participate if there is no queue and if time permits.
The artist may be able to work longer than agreed at their discretion. Additional time agreed on the day must be paid for upfront.
The artist is not responsible for queue management or crowd control. Once the queue is closed, no other guests can participate.
Face paints are water based and easily removed with soap and water. Some colours may temporarily stain the skin. If this occurs, a skin-safe oil can be used to gently wipe away the stain.
The artist is not liable for any paint transfer to clothing or property. Face paint should not stain, and is usually easily removed with soap and water.
The artist may request to take photographs to be used with the client's consent for promotional purposes.
The client must provide instructions for remote/hard to find venues not easily located via Google Maps.
Where possible, the artist requests that the client reserves a close-by parking space to facilitate the unloading of heavy equipment.
The client must make the artist aware of any parking instructions, restrictions or fees at the time of booking.
The artist cannot allow any extra time for delays incurred for reasons that are not communicated in advance.
The artist cannot paint or glitter guests under the age of three years, or anybody with signs of head lice, persistent coughs, runny noses, cold sores, conjunctivitis, infectious skin conditions, or broken skin.
Guests that already have face paint or glitter on cannot be painted. They will be offered an arm design as an alternative.
Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. At private events, it is the client's responsibility to ensure that parent/guardian permission is obtained for each child prior to taking part.
Children must be willing to participate and able to sit still unaided - no sleeping children or sitting on laps.
In the interest of hygiene, guests are not permitted to touch the equipment.
To avoid accidents, guests must not distract the artist or person being painted and must stand back until it is their turn.
Before queuing, guests that have not been painted before or have sensitive skin must make the artist aware and ask for a patch test. If no reaction occurs after 20 minutes, they may take part.
Guests must have their hair back and clean faces prior to their turn, and must not eat or drink while in the chair.
The artist uses skin-safe cosmetic products, but reactions can still occur. If there is any discomfort, remove the product immediately with mild soap and water. Do not use baby wipes. To remove glitter tattoos, soak with skin-safe oil or lotion. The artist is not liable for any reactions.
The client agrees to pay for any accidents, injuries, theft or damage to the artist's equipment or supplies caused by the client, clients' guests or pets.
The artist is insured for Public Liability up to £5,000,000. A copy is available on request.
The client may postpone the booking to a later date if the artist is available and given at least 7 days notice. The event date can only be changed once without charges.
If the client cancels with 7 days notice or more, they may request a refund minus the booking fee. This will be retained to cover administrative costs. If cancelled with less than 7 days notice, the invoice must be paid in full to cover the lost work.
If the artist is not able to work due to unforeseen circumstances, they will endeavour to find a replacement artist. If this is not possible, the client will be refunded in full.
